Yes, it's suppose to have a range of 4-12000 rpm. I haven't tached it yet, but that sound about right, though I don't think I'm at 12000 rpm, but they may mean 4000 idle with a big prop and 12000 top...

I just finished this, it's called the Scoundrel by Steve at http://www.selecthobbies.com/ It's a pre-production kit, I powered it with a PAW 55. It's my first silk a dope plane.
