Actually, the engine is an MVVS .12 (Modela Junior 2cc - purchased in Czechoslovakia in 1991) which behaves impeccably.

The Whirlwind now has 11 flights. I am very happy with the Modela Junior 2cc engine.
It starts easily, idles well and reliably and turns the 8x4 Master prop at a steady 11,800 rpm on the ground.

Maidened my Sharkface last week-end. It is powered with a PAW 80 and 6x4 prop. It really flies fast and the roll rate is incredible with 30° rudder throw (each side). I guess 10~15° would be enough...
