Wow, sounds great, I will wait till the 6 wheeled version comes out. I just hope the markings are not factory applied. I have a 1/18 scale static Jeep, and the markings look similar.

I just wonder if anyone from the States will get to them. I mean... we did more to build their industry up than any other continent.

Hey, im just saying what someone told me, he is an asian gentleman that I have met a couple times. He reposted the henglong facebook announcement to the san diego rc tank battles page. Its all in charachter writting and he said it says $1,000. Now maybe that might be yen or chineese dollars but that is what he wrote.
i would like to see the 6x6 for sale since its an accurate us army truck. The two axle truck is a ******* chop up of the truck that guys do to them on the civilian market to make them big pickup trucks. They were never in the military used like that. And this truck might actually be an m52 5 ton, not a 2.5 ton. They look very similar only a scale out measurement would tell if its a 5 ton or 2 1/2 ton truck.
Either way a this 6x6 would represent US army from the early 50s through the 2000s.

From the video the running gear looks ok, proper leaf springs and 4DW drive train. It'll be plastic but that should be fine for us. The video seems to show it running nicely over the rough terrain. Also it's a good source of running gear for converting other 1/16 soft skins.

That bobbed duece might be a good fit to put under my static MRAP M-ATV...

Yeah, and with a new kitbashed cab it would be a close fit for lots of WW2 German trucks...

You guys should be aware that the place in the UK that is currently selling these won't actually have them until the end of October. There's one small line at the bottom of the description that says pre-order only stock due in October and every place else it looks just like a regular item. At the top it says add to cart and doesn't say anything about being out of stock. I told them to refund my money because bang good is supposed to have these by the 14th of this month for half the price. So if you're ordering from the UK, be aware that you won't actually get the truck until about the middle of November.

Who is Bang good?

Crius, where did you see that Banggood is supposed to have these by the 14th of this month for half the price? Would be an insta-buy from me, if that's true. Just like those Clark TKs for these.

Chassis looks really simple. That's a good thing for the conversions of the Trumpeter 1/16 MRAPs.

Paco, Banggood is a place you need to check out. It's where I get my tiny FPV cameras and a bunch of other stuff. Good prices and fairly quick shipping.
Tankme already posted the link to the truck at banggood, and it says they should restock Sept 14th, so we'll see if that's the case. They also say the truck is $35 with free shipping to the U.S. If all that turns out to be true I'll order two trucks and still pay less than the cost of one from the UK.

I would be looking at 2...one for the Maxxpro conversion and the other for the M-ATV conversion. If they actually came out with the 6x6 version, I would buy one of those and leave it as is unless Trumpeter releases the 6x6 Cougar MRAP...

tHats not a "heng long truck" , it only a cheap toy, rebranded ad with nice photos. What a quality drop they have made from the T90. They should be ashamed. It doesnt even have windscreens, nor a driver.

How can they be waiting for restock when it's never been in stock.
Also by restock they may mean restock in their Chinease warehouse then it's 7-20 days shipping to UK/US.

Woz, banggood is supposed to restock by September 14th. There's another place, in the UK, that is offering these for pre-order but it's 35 pounds, not $35 (45lb if you live in Europe and have to pay VAT) and shipping to the United States is another 38 lb and that's the place that says they won't have them until the end of October. It's called Haya.

I was just pointing out that what it says on banggood is misleading. They're waiting to REstock something they've never had in stock. Also when they say restock they don't say if thats in their China or US warehouse.
This is HengLong we're talking about and most of the time even they don't seem to know when their stuff is going to come out and the bangood site even says "expected" restock.
I've preordered stuff from HAYA before and they seem to get stuff before anyone else outside China. At least it seemed that way with the Chally and T90.

I'll post a photo of it when it shows up. I've done sillier things with a lot more money than $56, but I just couldn't control my fingers from dancing all over the keys on my computer gizmo.

I feel ya, Rex. Now it says 5 available and I already got the message that it's shipped. With ebay protection I'm not worried and it's not like it's a huge amount. I'll keep ya posted.
