Dale, the current editor for the Tomcats newsletter has been doing some large electrics equal to 50cc. His name escapes me at the moment but I can check into it.

Toby, My Laser has a wingspan of 97" and a fuse length of 80". The canopy I used when I made my mold was a section out of a Comp ARF 3M Extra 330. Last time I checked they were running 29.00.

Jer, Ihave molds for the Lanier 33% laser. It's wingspan is 97" so I am going to venture a guess that they will fit. If you want to persue any farther I can take some measurments. The hatch/canopy...

Gotta love the Bud Light colors. Have you checked with the CD to make sure a clear canopy is not required? TOC did and IMAC requires clear canopies and according to the rulebook are supposed to dock...

I was doing some maintenence on mine today and took some pics of the interior. I am also building a Laser influenced 2M pattern plane for the coming season.

I considered a DL 30 for a 2 meter pattern version of my Laser but ran the numbers and concluded that even at 11 lbs it wouldn't have enough poop to do the Masters sequence. I went the electric rout....

I have been flying my heavily modified Lanier Laser for over a year now. Great airplane, 15.25 lbs DA 50 power. Few in one IMAC unlimited contest last year and plan for more in 2011.
