Go with a known reliable engine. I love my Kingtech 80G. I run it on Diesel so the fuel cost is like nothing. More fluid energy too.

Great choice, but plan on redoing the nose gear...

Great choice, but plan on redoing the nose gear door retract mechanism. It's the only clunky thing on this jet. I just used opposing springs.

I think it's difficult to compare your fuel/engine combo with a 100N engine whose burn rate is much higher. Before I put the Kingtech 80N in my F9F, I had intended to put in a 60N based on website...

i have this jet, though 100N is a lot. Mine has 80, because that size gave me 8 min flights without enlarging the tank. Just make sure you plumb the fuel system to empty the aft tanks first

there is a mechanical door closing mechanism, but I found it wasn’t very precise and it didn’t line up with the retract well. I threw it out and came up with my own design.

The Kingtech K80 is now installed. I used Hi Temp silicon to hold the FOD screen on. I don't know how advisable that is. But I don't even know what that oring that comes with it is supposed to do....
