Thank you sir .. Very useful info indeed.... this place is Great!.
It's possible to 'soot' up ali, either from an acetelyne flame or even a candle.. the soot begins to burn off a hundred or so...

Just bought an earlier: nib Non Revlite 061. But it's the RC carbed version... sigh
However I want to use it on Control line... initially at least
