Thanks Bill, those were my thoughts also. I have the "R" pieces from the kit. If they don't work, I'll use them as patterns to cut larger ones. I'll use 7/16 or 1/2" stock for the trailing edge.

Question. Did you leave to fiberglass on the rear of the vertical stab in place and back it inside with wood? My thought was to remove it and insert the ribs and a trailing edge.
