It wont work. the max I have found on crank clearance is .003 between the case. Total, that is .0015 per side,gap. that is way less than .1mm (.038mm) Actually that is 1/10th of what the gap would be...

That is a Big Mig, I dont think Norvel put the "slanted needle" assembly on the AME versions
At least I have never seen that on an AME NIB
