Norvie 074 running 25% or 20/20, I could let them idle while I had a sandwich.
I havent tried just slamming the throttle wide open after a long idle, but they came back with reasonable transition

I was runing just 10% that I had for my .42, then I tried some 25%. I saw a dramatic change for the better in the low end of a Norvel074. Also helped in a AP15 low end. I eventually came...

Maybe if you spin it up fow a while with no lube you can have some homemade SpeedBits to replace them.:)

I started my 074 by cramming the starter on & spinning it till prime then fire up... maybe 4-6 seconds with the occasional finger over the exhaust to help prime. You can tell when it catches, but...

I like using screws because I DON'T want the muffler to rotate. Once it is set, I want it to stay there.
What about hooking up a slaved elevator servo to the tailpipe and rotating it for Exhaust...

I used a standard starter... Magnum I think... and just took the rubber cone grabber out and put it back in backwards. That way there is a small hole to center the 074 and shove it hard against the...

Heck, I skipped the soak, few plughole drops afterrun oil & just worked the 100 by hand then mounted it
25%, ~4 turns, Prime, Clip, bump with starter, run & tweek needle to sloppy it for a min or...

I ran the norvel 074 with a MAS 6x4 three blade- looked sweet & ran 14k on 20/20powermaster IIR
