I got the same order confirmation ----- it has been shipped and will be here somewhere between 9-22 and 10-31. I hope they mean this year.

That's great Rex! $55.00 SHIPPED. That's a far cry from posting they are $1,000.00 each. I HATE THAT.

That's like those guys getting on the Tamiya website, seeing the retail price of a Tamiya tank and then spreading lies around about how much they cost. Calmer heads and the CORRECT price came to the surface.

I've seen some user videos of them on you tube and they seem to be sprung very nice! Smooth over bumps that make other RC vehicles bounce around so rough so at THIS PRICE I think it'll be a great start for many projects. So show us some pics when they come in!!!

Oh... and I'd like to see that 6X6 show up later.

I'll take two.
Shipping to USA is more. A HL tank from Haya was $76.00 to ship to Calif.

So according to the guy that posted the translation of the kangi character writting our facebook page saying the ad showed $1,000. If you run chineese yen through the currency converter it comes to 150 US dollars. That sounds like an MSRP from HL comapred to what you guys are seeing them actually sell for just like ratio of the tanks msrp at 300 ish and sell for 150-200 ish.

To preorder from Haya was over $90 once you added shipping. In fact, the shipping was more than the truck! I ordered the ebay truck, same as Rex, so we'll see how it shakes out. But, I have bought from this seller before with no problems.

I contacted Andrew as well (nice guy too) and was quoted about $70 plus some change for a truck so that was all well and fine with me. But before I went to re-engage the email conversation to order I ran into that eBay link here and thought it was so much easier just to do it that way, then get on with the day. eBay is WAY too easy.

Waiting is waiting (to me) and $55 bucks is pocket change I won't miss and like you guys said, if something goes wrong... (which I doubt it will) buyers are protected.

Hey Jeff, first, you're right, Andrew is very cordial. But are you sure he didn't say 70 pounds? That was my quote, 33 pounds for the truck and about 38 for shipping, that's 71 pounds, which is $93.

I think you, I and Rex all ordered the same day, it will be interesting to see who gets theirs first.

It very well could have been pounds! (LOL)

eBay was just too darn easy and convenient.

Guys by a Duce then cut the frame short and remove the rear axle and then put a trailer bed on the frame or shorten the box, which is harder.
I would be interested in the 6x6 but a guy that reads cahngi writing told me the 4x4 is $1,000 bucks. That's a ton of cash for a truck.
I'll wait for the 6X6, a lot better platform and look, more bang for the buck even it's a bit more. Bang Good has the 4x4 for $35.99 shipped, 6x6 I believe will not be much more, it's just the waiting that hurts, LOL!.

Banggood actually had them for $38 + free shipping pre-order on a 11th anniversary discount so at that price it can be a field decoration at worst so I ordered one. .. :-)

Supposed to ship end of the month...

Bang Good is still $35.99 shipped and they are accepting orders on them now. Ordered a green one and a tan one for the heck of it. If I don't like them I can sell them locally.

Wasn't it the same thing with the Abrams on ebay? They started at $90 and now they're about $130? That seems to be the way of the world, squeeze 'em till the juice runs out.

I would call it "greed and demand", but I understand what you're saying.

When I ordered the truck on eBay it was only available in khaki and not green, so I have ordered a green one from banggood but I didn't get the $35 price. By the time I ordered the second truck it had gone up to $43 but that's still pretty good with free shipping. Now we'll see which one gets here first.

In fact, since so many of us have ordered them it will be interesting to see who gets their truck first. First guy to post video of the new truck gets a cookie.

Price will drop again once the initial demand drops again and the sellers realize they have a whole bunch of items that aren't moving.

Ha ha! EXACTLY!

AND if it turns out to be a dud, then will come the hate threads "what a piece of crap it is" or "this isn't worth 20 bucks" and such.

I'm wondering how hard it will be to put coil springs on it since the MRAP use springs... If worse comes to worse I'll just use it as is with the leaf springs. If the 6x6 comes out you could do the 6x6 M-ATV...

Ordered one from BG the other day. Heng Long does not make these, they are simply re-branding them from WPL. Super cheap electronics quality, but who leaves their stuff stock anyways? I think it's a great little platform and if the drive line sucks that bad, the cab and bed alone are worth it.

The Maxxpro MRAP uses leaf springs so the kit should be great to R/C that kit.
