There is a very extensive parts bag with three air valves, 3 air tanks, and numerous other air system and linkage parts which I will have to sort out. There is another bag loaded with small scale parts. There were no instructions with the kit but AVI has emailed me a manual with some very nice pictures of the servo locations/linkage and pictures of the full scale Fouga to help locate the scale parts.

It can see it's going to take me awhile to figure out my servo requiremens and how it will all go together. I'm taking it slow with this one but will post news/pics of my progress if there is any interest.

Stephane,

I'm working on that now. It looks like the control surface servo mounts are sized for a something similar to a JR DS8411 (L 39mm, W 19mm, H 34.5mm). I plan on using 7 of them with two for the ailerons, two for the elev/rudders, two for the flaps and one for nose wheel steering. Two smaller servos, such as JR DS3711's will be needed for the speed brakes. Additional small servos will be needed for the gear, doors and brake valves unless you go with electronic units.

There is an option to use two additional servos on the flaps with one for each of the 4 flap sections but I'm going to try and use just one servo per wing. I also plan to use all HV servos.

Hope this helps,

Craig

You are probably right . the flap horns should be straight polyply pieces at about an inch long .Same thickness as the horn shown in your picture.

Wouldn't it be easier to contact the supplier and ask for the parts?

Hi Stephane

I looks very nice

This Holes are for Flaps Horns

You can find Details in the Manual I sent you before under the Flaps Section

You need to use the Horn as you wish According to scale Movement you wish to have .

If you need , I can send the Manual Again ( It shows the Horns in the Package and how to use it )

Avi
